So I haven't posted anything for a month and a half.
I have no good excuse. I could say that I have been pretty busy (which I have). I could say that I haven't thought of anything worthwhile to say (which maybe I haven't). I could catch everyone up on what I have been up to (which I probably won't -- I'll just explain it to the two people who actually read this blog in person). I think I'll just pretend I haven't been absent and just post some stuff.
Part of the reason may be that I am having a hard time deciding what to post.
Many of the blogs that I read regularly have some kind of theme. joelonsoftware sticks with software development topics. He talks a lot about his company and how he does things. Neopolean is also a software guy but his stuff is much more personal (and witty, and usually funny) -- although he stays away from politics.
My thoughts are all over the place. Sometimes (although it seems to be rarely) I want to talk about software. Sometimes (more often than I should, I think) I talk politics. And sometimes its music.
Until (unless) I decide to stick to a theme, I guess I will continue the shotgun approach. Heck, anything is better than nothing, right? Well, then again, maybe nothing is better than babbling.
I'll try not to babble.
