Brian Primeau and I go way back. We worked together at New Systems in the mid '80's, where I was Director of Programming, and Brian was an installer, and later was in sales. When Randal DeMarco and I started Insi in 1988, Brian and Larry Kile were our only other two employees. Today he is my partner at ArrowStorm.
Last week MSI told him his position was being eliminated. I think there were some politics and personality conflicts involved in that decision. Brian has been one of MSI's top producers. Oh well -- I've wanted Brian working with me full-time for a while anyway. So now it's official.
I feel a lot like I did when Insi was started. It was a little scary, but pretty exciting too. Only then, we had enough NSI customers and some initial business to get us started in the black. This time, we are starting with much less. Yet the potential is there for some pretty good business -- it's just a matter of getting the ball rolling. We're feeling pretty good about things. Hoo-boy -- here we go!
