Check out this link. Media organizations that claim high integrity have been publishing manipulated photos in order to influence public opinion. Organations like Reuters, N.Y. Times, Associated Press, U.S. News & World Report are not presenting the whole story on the Israel / Lebanon war. In fact, they are presenting only one story -- the one they want you to hear.
There is nothing new here -- the media has been doing this for ages. But thanks to astute bloggers, they are getting caught at it more than before.
This media bias extends to pretty much every subject they cover. Subjects like global warming, gun control, church & state, illegal aliens, abortion -- the list goes on.
I fear that too many people blindly accept what the media presents as being comprehensive and fair coverage. It is most definitely not. I would hope that people would look beyond these organizations and get more information before they form their opinion on a subject.
